It turns out that energy expenditure is inversely proportional to age. In this photo are the five youngest great-grandchildren of Stella. Stella is the one that moves the least, though the 9 year old and the 11 year old seemed thoroughly well trained in the art of energy conservation. Adam, who is on the right,is only three even though he is as big as many 6 year old children.

When I get the time, I will align these photos so that a slideshow will hold grandma still and show the relative movement of everyone else. Stella was born in 1923 and was 16 when the Germans stole her from Poland to work in Germany. Stella is my wife's Grandmother.
